About Vilina Hutter
Curiosity and the desire to learn new things has been a mainstay of my creative life.
That curiosity has sustained me (and driven me!) as I ventured down the path of discovering the joys of metal—that it is a malleable and changeable material, not just the fixed quantity I had always seen it as. Since 2013, I have been focused on the intricacies—and the joys—of jewelry making. In 2014, I discovered enamel—molten glass fused to metal—and my passion deepened! I am largely self-taught, although I have been fortunate enough to study with some truly gifted jewelers.
My jewelry items are entirely handmade, and so can never be exactly reproduced. I primarily use silver, copper, and colorful vitreous enamel in my work, and I enjoy adding small gemstone cabochons to my pieces. I love the fun and approachable jewelry that results from the color of the enamels and gemstones.
